Judy and Dean Robinson have been learning and playing old time music for 15 years.

Judy bought her first fiddle at a music store in Bryson City in self defense after Dean bought a banjo at a flea market in Atlanta. Soon after, Dean built his first banjo, and Judy started fiddle lessons with Georgia fiddler Mick Kinney. An addiction was born.

As musicians, they have won local band contests and opened for the Freight Hoppers with their band American Honey and continue to play local festivals with their band The Bow Weevils.

Dean is a banjo builder, and his Deanocraft Custom Banjos were have been featured in Garden and Gun magazine as a runner-up in their "Made in the South Awards."

Dean and Judy are now full-time residents of Bryson City, NC.
